Many of us have a dream of owning a house near the city. And for some, this dream gradually turns into reality. Of course, one of the main requirements for country houses is comfort: availability of electricity, heating, water supply. Unfortunately, very often there is nothing but electricity on the land. With water, the problem can be solved with the help of a well or a well. But the issue of heating requires a more balanced and thorough approach, because it is not only about the costs of installing the boiler and heating system, but also about the cost of subsequent operation.

First of all, you need to determine the type of fuel your mini-boiler house will work on. Currently there are enough options: wood, coal, wood pellets, diesel fuel, liquefied or natural gas and finally electricity.
Each option has its advantages and disadvantages:

Electricity – in terms of costs for installation of the system – the cheapest option, only here on the operation – on the contrary – the most expensive.

Diesel fuel is not the cheapest option in construction and operation, but diesel fuel boilers are fully automated and do not require frequent maintenance – you only need to monitor the level of fuel in the tank.

Currently, more and more popular boilers on pellets. With the relatively inexpensive cost and availability of fuel in our region, such boilers also operate in a fully automatic mode. The disadvantages include the cost of the boilers themselves, it is much higher than gas and diesel.

Natural gas networks in the vicinity of Arkhangelsk are still quite weak, although natural gas heating is the most profitable option for individual heat supply. An alternative to it – liquefied gas – has a number of disadvantages: the high cost of liquefied gas (although lower than electricity, diesel and pellets), the need to equip an underground gas storage tank, and hence the high cost of construction.

Well, the cheapest option from the point of view of operation is a boiler house on wood or coal. But in this case you have 2-3 times a day to throw fuel into the boiler. Automatic operation of the boiler house is impossible in this case.
